They don’t tell you to grow older,

unless you feel younger

They don’t tell you how to live,

until you’re barely living

No body tells you how put it all back together,

until you are the one who is in pieces

Those pieces—no one knows how to fix,

Only through pain and suffering do you know where to put the glue,

Only through experience do you know how to grow

Because only someone like you knows that you may grow older,

but on the inside—you are a butterfly,

Like metamorphosis, you are different now

You are not the same as before

Why worry about the future?

Why not be younger now?
