Young girl in the street,

Begging for something to eat,

Crying in pain as her stomach

grips her,

Wondering if you have food to

offer her;

Young girl in the street,

Begging for something to eat,

Take my hand,

Feel no shame,

I was once walking down your

lane,

It's hard to feel sunshine when

your in pain,

But it's not your fault that you live

your life in vain,

I know how it feels when you are lost,

With no one to turn to in the frost,

Remember there is a light,

Let it guide you through the night,

Young girl in the street,

Please step inside,

So you can eat.
