You

Brown eyes

Those beautiful doe brown eyes

They hypnotize me into your abyss

Your generous smile dark yet light compliments mine

Your intelligence is strong

And your potential in life is something to inspire

You ignite a flame I did not know I had

A candle seeming to be at the end of its wick, useless

Yet is lit somehow, guiding way

You provide strange comfort

Like a tantruming toddler finally given their favorite toy

You give me the confidence to be who I am

To ignore the unforgiving world

I feel like a budding flower,

A bird spreading its wings

You may not be the cause

You have helped me grow

You have reminded me why I’m on Earth

Why I should have hope

Even if you’re not a permanent entity you have a forever changed my life
