You Won!

A Poem

Congratulations!

You won a game,

You’ll never play again;

You must be so proud,

So selfish.

It must feel great,

To win by damning;

So brave and strong,

Against the helpless.

If only there were more,

And more and more and more;

Maybe then you’ll stop,

Satisfied and fulfilled.

You must tell us all,

How you did the impossible;

To make arrogance and greed,

Skilled and hard.

We’ll all see your name,

Up there on the scoreboard;

How much you stole and lied,

Swindled and swiped.

To Hell with the losers,

You comfort yourself;

“If I were meant to be good,

Someone else would have won.”
