You Were Never Meant to Disappear

They tried to erase your edges—

Told you to fade,

To smooth yourself into silence,

To be the echo, not the voice.

But you are wildfire and ocean tide.

You were born to take up space,

To carve meaning into empty rooms,

To leave sparks where your name once stood.

You don’t have to fit where you don’t belong.

You are not a leftover,

Not a second choice,

Not a shadow in someone else’s story.

You are the story.

So let your laugh shake the ceiling.

Let your sorrow spill into poetry.

Let your love show its teeth.

This world does not need more masks.

It needs your truth.

You were never meant to disappear—

You were meant to rise.

Loud.

Full.

Unapologetically whole.
