You Are Not Too Much

They may have told you to quiet down,

To shrink, to change, to break apart—

But you are not too loud, too soft, too strange.

You are the voice someone out there needs.

Whether your mind runs wild with dreams,

Or your soul carries shadows you don’t speak of—

You are still whole, even in pieces.

You are not too broken to be loved.

You may walk with a limp,

Speak with fire,

Love without apology—

And still, you are right on time.

You were not made for their mold,

But for your own unfolding.

The stars do not question your glow.

Why should you?

You belong here.

Even in your quietest ache,

Even in your boldest roar—

You are not too much.

You are just enough.

And more.
