Home?

A place where you never feel alone

A place where you can always go

For safety

For peace of mind

Even to give a piece of mind

Home?

Radiating warm feelings

Giving the feeling of love

Not making you feel judged

Giving you hugs

When you need to be hugged

You were a place called home

You helped me not feel so alone

Made me feel welcomed at all cost

When I lost you - Tried to find the cause

Forgetting to breath and just pause

Left with the memories

Never leaving my mind

No matter how much time goes by

Can't rewind the clocks

Like daylight savings

You were my home

I'd run to you when I needed saving

One more welcome is all I've been craving

Wanna go back to the home

The home that doesn't make me feel as if I'm crazy

My mind sometimes get hazy

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

This one makes me feel alone

Take home

To the one I know

The one where we all glowed

Smiles

Laughter

Peace

Trying to put my heart at ease

This new home gets hard to please

I'll be taking all those memories with me

Bus

Train

Plane

I'll make it back

I know it sounds insane

Somehow, someway

I'll go back home

I will be okay

In every room

We will continue to play

I just have to take it

Day by day

In the kitchen we will eat

In the bedrooms we will sleep

You were the home I knew

You were the home that removed the blues

Take me home

Take me home

Take me home

The one not located within a war zone

The one that doesn't make me feel alone

Where the walls were brighter

Where my heart felt lighter
