You Make Me Complete

The sense of wholeness that comes from love

Before you came along I was perfectly fine.

Now I'm ten times better since you are mine.

All my life I felt complete,

Until I encountered love so sweet.

Don't misunderstand, now don't get me wrong;

All by myself I could get along.

I had my Savior to make me whole,

Then he gave me you to love my soul.

For what is a singer without a song,

Or a member without a club to belong?

A singer can sing with her might,

But without a great song, it just isn't right.

A faithful member just isn't so

Without a club meeting with which to go.

So then what is a lover without someone to love,

Whose hand she'll hold tight just like a glove?

What is a lover full of happiness

Who has no one to share love with that words can't express?

Because of you I'm no useless thing:

I'm a singer who can now sing

For you filled my heart with a beautiful song,

And gave this member a club with which to belong.

I am a lover with someone to love,

And all others I'll put you above.

I'm filled with so much happiness,

Because your lover toward me you did express.
