You'll Need To Find Your Own Forgiveness

I Am No Longer Here To Give It

I wasn't built for eye contact

or sharing uncomfortable truths

But I'm ready to let go of that

and unlock that grip from you

Not from hate or bitterness

but from a place of calm and peace

A cleansing escape, over my tongue

forgiveness' masterpiece

I don't forgive the things you did

but I forgive the part I played

Today I liberate that kid

who was broken and afraid

She grew to be a woman

unafraid to shine her light

Creating her own improvement

not a victim of her plight

Grace may find you finally

but it's a grace you'll have to seek

I reserve what's mine, for only me

and the girl I used to be

We all grow in our own ways-physically, mentally, socially and all over ways.

She grew to be a woman unafraid to shine her light , I love this line. Its show you have become a butterfly 🦋 in your own right and you recognize the beauty you can share with the right people who appreciate you. Hugs !🥰
