The thought of you haunt me

Don’t want to carry the same pain you gave me into my next relationship

The first time I crouched down on the floor and cried

I never thought a broken heart would cause physical pain

I put my heart center stage because I thought it would lead me the right way

I didn't expect you to break it so easily

So now I am just left with painful memories of you haunting me at midnight

You keep me up at night

Can’t seem to get you out my sight

This type of pain will take decades to heal

My heart will never be the same, Oh what a radical change
