You can burn photographs and delete pictures, but you cant erase memories
You can smoke and drink away the taste of their lips, but your still gonna feel empty
Your gonna run out that door screaming their name, waving them to come back, or your gonna go to bar, meet with a friend and act like it didnt happen.
You can try and forget all those long nights and long miles, or the time you met each others eyes for the first time.
You remember how it all fell into place, the words just rolling off your tongue
The night's just got long by themselves, but you forgot the way it felt when you try start over and try to make the conversation yourself...you're to busy pickin up the pieces to see everything's right where it needs to be...
