You are What You Think

by Thomas Freese

You are what you think

Good deeds should be unspoken

Just between you and the blessed

Stay humbly receptive

and conscious to all the rest

It'd be wise to know your counsel

Talk less and listen more

Pay attention to your actions

For there are evils of all sorts

Be humble so those don't spite you

But stand up for your beliefs

Only fools will fight correction

And the wise will be relieved

Forgive all those who wrong you

But when in their presence take caution

A grudge only harms the victims

When the aggressors long forgotten

Don't stress on the uncontrolled

And go in circles, as if within a rink

Train to control your thoughts

Because you are what you think

About the Creator

Thomas F

I was shot in the face at point blank range with a double barrel 12 gage during an strong arm robbery that quickly turned into an Attempted Murder. Although I'm missing my right eye and a bullet in my brain. I AM STILL ME & I AM STILL HERE
