You Are What You Are

Be proud stand tall

You Are What You Are

You are what you are,

Not shaped by them,

Not carved by fear,

Not bent by noise.

You walk your path,

Head held high,

Even on nights

That feel too heavy.

You carry truth,

Raw and real,

Marked by loss,

Marked by fight.

People judge,

From far away,

Thinking they know,

Thinking they see.

They don’t know pain,

Living in bone,

They don’t know nights

You survived alone.

Still you rise,

Still you move,

Still you breathe

Through every storm.

You are what you are,

And that is strength,

That is fire,

That is enough.
