Never Give Up
The night drips slow,
Through broken dreams,
Where silence hums,
In endless streams.
The walls are cold,
They breathe your name,
The mirror cracks,
It shows your shame.
The ground is wet,
With things unsaid,
You walk through ghosts,
Of all you’ve bled.
Your pulse grows weak,
Your breath turns thin,
Yet still you fight,
Through dark within.
The stars look down,
They seem to cry,
For all the souls,
Who wished to die.
You fall, you crawl,
Through aching ground,
No saving hand,
No comfort found.
But somewhere deep,
Where light once burned,
A spark returns,
For what you’ve learned.
The pain won’t fade,
It learns to stay,
It builds the strength,
To face the day.
And when the dawn,
Crawls up in grey,
Your heart still beats,
You found your way.
Never give up,
Though nights are long,
You are the storm,
You still belong.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

Yes so uplifting words. Love this.
This poem is a brutally honest testament to endurance, finding power not in escaping pain, but in carrying it.
Soo beautiful .
