An ode to redemption
You are not your mistakes. Those claims against you are fake.
No matter how many hits you take. You can bend a little, but never let yourself break.
Your now is bigger than the past. Your bad choices were fast.
But now you’ve been redeemed and all the guilt will not last.
Give your reflection another glance. You might be flawed
But that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a second chance.
Your heart is better than mistakes you made or the prices you paid.
One day the pain of these memories will fade.
Have faith in tomorrow because your future looks great.
An incredible soul destined with a beautiful fate.
Never ever forget my words, you are not your mistakes.
