You Are My Comfort

A poem - who or what brings comfort?

Your bright blue eyes.

Your tanned dark skin.

Your wavy thick hair.

Your swelling heartbeat

glistens my being as

it glows like a Goddess

dressed in white flowing skirts.

You're my comfort,

my home.

Your aromatic radiance

lingers on like a scented candle

moving me

to tears when you kiss me.

Your soft wet desirable lips

taste of honey and

candy.

The sweetness uplifts me

when you're around.

A glimmering resplendence filters

the air as your body stands in front of me

and swishes and glows

with tenderness.

I need you always

by my side.

Your comfort brings

bliss, a succulence so deep,

parading through my skin

as it fills my heart

making it spill out,

thumping with loudness.

An erratic pull

when I slip

my fingers through

your brown rich hair.

Your hands warm and soft

not like a man's roughness.

Your body hot and tanned,

smiling so grand like no other

I've ever met.

You're the husband

I dreamed of

in my younger days.

You're like a God

sculptured as a statue.

Its smooth edges

glistening in the sun,

rippling in the blues

of the sky.

Wondrous to look at

as you stand in the light

of day.

You're my proudness

comforting my heart.

You're my home.

My husband

I am proud to say,

I worship you to this very day.

I light up when you're around.

Your gaze will always capture

mine, forever till the day I die.

You are my comfort,

my husband.

A love like feathers

falling from clouds

calling me to you.

You're my God,

my warmth,

my comfort,

forever.
