You

My Peace, My Joy, My Safety

By Sharon Bowman GriffinPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

You:

Comfort me in my distress.

Forgive me when I make a mess.

Shower me with tenderness.

Reach out Your Hand to me and bless.

You:

You can so obviously see

The brokenness inside of me,

But choose to mend it patiently

A better person to help me be.

You:

Were here from the very start.

Teach me to trust You with my heart.

Fan my faith into fire from a tiny spark.

Create better paths on which I can embark.

You:

Always have Your eyes on me.

Make plans for me I cannot see.

Lead me with quiet authority.

Are my peace, my joy, and my safety.
