Yellow

What is in a color?

Iam yellow, bursting with energy and warmth, new and unassuming of lifes challenges.

I am yellow, murky and muted, like wilted sunflowers seen through a dirty window, echoes of what used to be.

I am yellow, so bright and and full of fury, brimming with white hot rage ready to burn down every obstacle in my path.

I am yellow like the turning leaves at the end of a waning summer, although fading, carrying a promise of rebirth come spring.

I am yellow, pushing up through the cold ground, so sure of myself, ready to flourish and start anew.

Yellow, so vibrant, so versatile and so open to interpretation.

Often unseen, but always present, sometimes just a pop of color. I am yellow.
