Yellow

how do splatters of a particular color feel on the canvas of our transient lives?

By Aishwarya RanePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

No longer plagued by the past

Getting out of bed isn’t an

insurmountable task

Discovered a shield to repel vitriol

Prayed for protection instead of someone’s downfall

Patience replaced haste

Aimed at spite with an arrow lathered with grace

Healing is a sunflower

Healing lets you exude peace and prosper

Your path will be zigzag instead of linear, but you will see light at the end of the tunnel

Embodying yellow means being hopeful despite upheaval

Being self-assured instead of craving momentary validation

Having delightful experiences even without a companion

Wanting a treasure trove of memories over jewels

Speaking up upon witnessing something unjust and cruel

Unwilling to cave in and conform

Recognizing sophistication is amplified by demeanor and not what is worn

Confidence is priceless

Confidence dazzles far more than a yellow diamond

It is liberating to sleep without a murky conscience

Embodying yellow means not letting a thundercloud dampen joy

Flavorsome ramen during torrential rain

Reassuring embrace on a dismal day

Grandparents who are alive and well

Daunting emotional abyss morphing into a speck

Feeling safe at home instead of being anguished

Friendships that have sustained through thick and thin

Gratitude is an elixir

Gratitude ensures you stay undeterred

Circumventing apathy is remarkable

Embodying yellow means not letting materialism steal the show
