Yell-ow

I have a problem

With Yellow.

We just don’t

Sit right with

Each other.

I am not sure

Why; Yellow

Is uncomfortable.

It is the color of

The sun, banana peels,

Pineapple meats, and those

Happy face stickers. Still,

I say they are all

Golden in brightness,

Sweetness, juiciness,

Happinesses. Not Yellow.

Lemons are certainly Yellow.

So I prefer the lime, especially

The petite Key Lime which

Is the perfect shade of neither

Yellow nor Green. Yellow

Is so disagreeable to me. I

Have tried to work it out,

But other colors are waiting.
