Tear me in half
rip me apart
break me small
wring my heart dry
scatter me far
but I won't stay there
it's not how I was made
my pieces come home
scar tissue formed
stronger than before
my tears float my heart
back to center
and as I drop
to my knees
I see you
smiling at my tears
you thought you had me
firmly in your grip
you made me forget
for a hot minute
who I am
with your schemes
and relentless badgering
that I'm
not pretty enough
not smart enough
not young enough
and as I say "Amen"
and stand up
perhaps a little taller
with purpose
your smile disappears
I'm not finished
like you thought
I would be
You tried to
squash me
squelch me
but you're no match
for the One
who fitted my armor
and set me in motion.

βPut on the whole armor of God, may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.β ββEphesiansβ¬ β6β¬:β11β¬-β13β¬ βNKJV

This reminds me of the importance to speak life over ourselves!
This was so powerful. Loved it!
