A Rejected Meditation Poem

By MacPublished about a year ago 1 min read

How thin the veil between us and whatever it is out there.

Between us and the man or the woman over there.

Between us and me.

Lift the veil and see what you see and not what you want to see or think you should see.

Don't believe in anything, don't believe anything.

How thin the skin between beliefs and between us.

Break it open, peel back the dermal layer to the pulsing red muscle and bloodied bone beneath.

Yank the vessels and veins like string, pull back the veil.
