Asking for wisdom from above
Believing answers will come
Carrying peace and song
Delivering joy and peace

Eternal shadows fall upon
Forgotten memories buried within
Gathered with precarious hope
Healing promises touching the infirm

Iterations in prayer abound
Jovial melodies surround the atmosphere
Keeping faith despite dark foreboding
Leveling reality checks within the soul

Masterful Creator in mind of love
Noble ruler in a time vortex
Open the floodgates of mercy upon us
Patiently regarding our lowly estate

Quiet the souls of those in distress
Raise up the broken-hearted
Silence the mean and cruel
Take our problems and burdens from us

Under strain, the prayer went up
Voices in harmony told the tale
Withstanding the unbelief
Xenial sentiments fostered peaceful relations

Zealously performing those good things needed
