True Ease in Writing comes from Art, not Chance. As those move easiest who have learn'd to dance. ALEXANDER POPE, "AN ESSAY ON CRITICISM"

In the book "SONG-WRITING WITHOUT BOUNDARIES", by Pat Pattison the title and the quote are in his book.

Thoughts while listening to and laughing along with laughter yoga this morning:

Laughter turned to snow in the sky today,

laughter helps the feelings be better for the day.

Laughter allows oxygen to move into our body,

it's healing you know, helping with the needed antibody.

~

Tears and laughter are so healing, even healing fears,

and tears turn to laughter, and laughter turns to tears

There has been snow all around for all of my years.

I remember snow makes snowmen and snowwomen!

~

Snow is needed for skiing and sledding and don't forget

snow snakes! And all of the games we play in the snow. Let

it snow, let it snow, I was just at a play called Frozen, JR

And here it is today, all over the ground. Brrr

~

The hubby commented, "Wow, did you sweep

the snow off the cars and steps!" It made him weep.

It actually wasn't that cold, just deep with snow.

Let it snow, let it snow! And what a beautiful glow!

~

Being outside with snow is a favorite day while greeting

the sunrise this Monday. I was only out there meeting

the day in a good way. It wasn't a big chore, but hubby

usually takes care of the snow. A gift for my love, my buddy!

Authors Note: I planned to try the tetrameter rhythm but that will have to wait for another day! No patience today!

Gosh I'll just freeze and die if I lived where it showed, lol. Loved your poem!

Great work on the poem and I wish we could get some snow down here. If the weather is correct it is supposed to get in the 30's and maybe the 20's at night and maybe I will be able to see a little frost. I won't count on it though.

Oh I love how you wrote this with the snowflakes, laughter so healing for the soul. Beautiful!❄️❄️

  • Snowflakes are soft tears, happy tears perhaps? It's raining and dark where I live in Sweden today. I prefer snowflakes. Lovely antidote!
