pushing away the keyboard,
telling yourself that you'll never
put yourself through this again...
only to do it all over again the next week.
some say this gig isn't a lot of work...
some will say we have it easy,
others will call this a hobby.
the truth?
nobody will ever know the truth
about the pains of a writer...
until they become the writer themselves.
