Worshipping the Moon
My Celestial Queen
By Marisa GomezPublished 4 years ago • Updated 4 years ago • 1 min read

I peer at your perfect silver complexion for the first time,
The waves of the moon bouncing off your locks.
I see the untapped strength lurking on your aura.
To look at you is to gaze upon unbinding beauty.
You are dancing in the dark where you belong,
From twilight to starlight,
Feeding the paradox within you.
I see the bright white fire raging in your soul,
Your power harnessed only by your celestial shaped body.
Oh, but underneath this brazen spirit lay a calm heart.
Iridescent waves course through your veins,
Just soothing enough, the fire never burns through to the core.
So here I am worshipping the moon,
Pushing and pulling myself to you.
Like blood is to my body,
Water is to Earth.
You are my never, my always,
My last, my first.
