Words vs. Actions

-You say you love me, your actions show otherwise

-Your words although captivating, unfortunately poetic lies

-Why am I so weak? Continuously falling for the sweet lies you speak

-Fooling myself to believe when deep down knowing your words aren't reality

-You'd think I was blind but I can see

-So why do I allow you to do this to me?

-I can't deny that incomparable high, of being in your arms as you charm with tasty lies

-Like "baby I need you, don't ever go, I'm in this forever I don't care who knows”

-And “I’ll never play you, I'm yours, you my queen, you know you're my heartbeat, I swear on everything"

-Words so pretty yet so untrue

-Your actions leave me disappointed & crying over you

-When I mention the difference in what you say & do

-You gaslight me with “I'm not perfect so quit nagging” you

-I realize I'm better than this & at times get the strength to leave, but that strength suddenly vanishes when you start to lyrically deceive

-You say you love me, your actions show otherwise

-You’re my kryptonite, its true, your words are voodoo

-But this repeated cycle ain’t healthy, & I've done all I could do

-Having hope & faith your words manifest true, to be reminded your words are lovely but actions never follow through

-So enough is enough, goodbye to you, cause it's not about what you say it’s about what you do
