Words Are Like Bullets

Choice is easy, be nice or be silent, to the world.

Words Are Like Bullets

Words are like bullets, they wound and kill,

Sharper than daggers, bending to will.

They pierce through the heart, unseen but severe,

Leaving behind a trail of fear.

A careless tongue, a reckless aim,

Can scorch a soul, ignite a flame.

Once they’re spoken, they cannot return,

Like embers that smolder, or bridges that burn.

Remember, before you fire your tongue at us all,

Once spoken out there, there is no recall.

Choose them wisely, let kindness lead,

A gentle word is the balm we need.

For death and life in the tongue reside,

A truth no heart can ever hide.

If you can’t talk nicely, shut your big mouth up,

For some words belong in the toxic dump.

Indeed...words are spirit and life. They could give or destroy life.
