Wood Elf

Poem

By Elizabeth TownsendPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

My fair-skinned grey-eyed golden blonde wood elf

When I first saw you I felt a bit faint

My soul sings for your soul all my short life

Your beauty cannot be captured by paint

I fear I cannot wait for much longer

If I do not follow my heart and speak

I may lose you forever to danger

Though with your bow and arrows you aren’t weak

I hope that my prayers will be answered now

Before the darkness consumes your bright light

That I may kiss your fears off of your brow

And be by your side to protect your fight

I pray you to accept my loving words to you

My heart races when you say love you too
