Womanhood

what makes a woman?

By Amy CainPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

What makes a woman?

Her glossy, flowing hair?

Her soft and supple breasts?

Her features, painted, plucked, and powdered?

What makes a woman?

Is it in her curved hips and rounded thighs?

Is it in her life giving organs?

Is it in her hourglass figure?

What makes a woman?

Should it be her gentility?

Should it be her grace?

Should it be her fragility?

A woman is power.

A woman is strength.

A woman is perseverance.

A woman is kindness.

Her steps cause the earth to quake.

Her voice shakes the sky.

Her beauty radiates to the heavens.

Her soul touches the multitudes.

Womanhood wears many faces.

Womanhood bears many burdens.

Womanhood is the figure in the mirror.

Womanhood is the truth in your soul.
