Woman of the Woods

An acrostic poem

She speaks with the flora & fauna,

It enrages those of blind faith.

Living off the land in her gentle way,

Edge of humanity away from them all.

No one bothers to know her truths.

Christian souls that claim kindness,

Eventually snuff out her light with fear-mongering accusations.

For those who lost their lives in the Salem Witch trials and were never truly heard.

Yes, Salem was a terrible abuse of what? Power? Fear? But a reminder to us all of how easily a situation can be manipulated. Great acrostic.
