Drowned beneath the soil.
Gasps of air ignite a spark;
She awakens now.
She’s just like a flame.
A single breath lifts her up,
Smoking through the air.
Settling on water,
Hostile tides push against her.
She fights to burn bright.
She anchors herself.
A fire living on water,
Never surrenders.
