Witness of Quiet Wars
We survive battles no one ever sees

Some wars
leave no bruises.
No broken bones.
No torn streets.
Just eyes
that stop glowing.
Voices
that grow thinner.
Hearts
that forget
how to trust.
We fight
while smiling.
We bleed
inward.
We scream
with silence.
And no one
knows.
Because our world
teaches quiet people
to swallow pain
like it's medicine.
To nod
while the soul
trembles.
To move forward
without ever
looking back.
They say,
“You’re strong.”
But they don’t know
how tired
we are.
Strength isn’t
never falling.
It’s getting up
without help.
It’s carrying
a storm
and still asking
others
if they’re okay.
We are witnesses
of quiet wars.
And we survive
them daily.
Even when
no one
applauds.
