Witness

I, as I'm sure thousands in the past have also done, hope that future generations learn from what transpired here today

For those who do not take action whether be to their inability to do so, or their not knowing how without it being illegal, the ability to witness and record go a long way

I fear I'm one of those people

I'm rather passive in most cases, but I do have certain skills when it comes to recording, comparing, and spreading messages that need to be spread

So on days like today, I find it to be all I can do, all I must do

Witness, record, spread

While I am passive I refuse to do nothing, there is a difference in being passive and doing nothing, you can still passively do things

I refuse to do nothing

So it is time to sit and witness and record what will happen, so future generations do not make the same mistake...

But isn't that always the case?

Every generation wishes and hopes with all their heart that those who come after them will not make the same mistakes;

Parents wish it for children

Teachers wish it for students

Everyone wishes it for everyone else, do not make the same mistakes because that's the whole point isn't it?

To LEARN from your mistakes

And yet...

And yet the same mistakes are constantly made today being no exception

I just hope my actions aren't as depressingly futile as those who came before me
