Without you our leaves are withering

what purpose is there,

through all we do,

how do we grow, with no light.

-

Like the greatest oak

or the smallest flower,

with no rain, no sun

we slowly wither.

-

But you are our saving grace,

in your care

there is no drought

no darkness.

-

Through your love

we have sustenance,

there is no disaster,

that can tear us asunder.

-

So here i will bask

in your nurture

my fruit will grow

and my leaves wont wither.
