Journeying Through Love's Presence and Absence
With Him, Without Him: Love's Duality Explored
In his arms, I find my solace deep,
A tender touch, where my heart does leap.
Together, we paint our dreams so bright,
In his embrace, everything feels right.
Yet life without him, a daunting sea,
Loneliness whispers, tormenting me.
His absence casts a shadow's veil,
Aching void where love once set sail.
But in solitude, I find my strength,
Rediscovering myself at length.
For love, though sweet, is not my all,
I stand tall, even when I fall.
In his presence or absence, I remain,
Embracing life's joy and pain.

My New Book is Finally Here
My poetry collection Beautiful and Brutal Things is done. It's actually done and finally published over 270 pages. Over a year of my life went into this book. More than a year, really. Long days at my computer, sometimes seven days a week because I couldn't stop even when I probably should have. Then two months of editing that felt harder than the writing itself. But it's finished, and I'm still standing, and the book is real.
