With All the Love I Possess
Prompt: Joy and peace are born in love
If I had a child, that child would know
their mother loved with a dazzling fiery soul
enough to burn forests in search of her love
with the passion to swim oceans to reunite with their beloved.

If I had a child, they would have no reason to doubt
the unbearable longing in my rebuilt heart
for their meritorious father the savior of our family
always wanting to be near his dearest parts.

If I had a child, there would be constant rejoicing
praise for a job well done, for an idea well had
There would be no end to the love
and bountiful blessings that would be spread

If I had a child, they would know real family
people loving them and treating them carefully
blood would have no bearing on it
only those deserving would ever lay eyes upon them.

If I had a child, I would try every day
I would dedicate myself to the art of childβs play
But trying isnβt enough, and sometimes
when we go out and do, we fail

I have so many children I can treat like family
I spread compassion like light
I love my husband with passion and delight
I try never to fail those I promised my arm in this life
