Wish Made of Glass

Untied

For every wish I made

another sunset fades

new road

and still the same

pebbles will know my name

they heard love words

and storm

they know the way to happy garden

lost

in a sea of doubts

found once again

when all else seemed forgotten

torn

heart still believed

life wasn't done

telling your story

and my own.

***

I wandered, reaching for your name

wind whispered back

forgiving song

I knew hope was still waiting

under a jasmine gate

flowers of thought

unnerving

and untied

let go

to find again

let me come back

before this sunset flees

surrender last regret

in purple light

I feel your love

before the dawn

I will find my soul home.
