I wish for you,
I wish it true - the thought of us,
the feeling of you.
Pining for this as if it were still new,
I’m pining for this like daffodils in spring,
sunshine from you,
The rays of light so crisp and sharp,
But yet warm & full of sparks.
I wish for you, still it is true.
