Winter, Spring Summer and Fall (Poem)

The Gen X World

By Karen JuarezPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

As life in shadow sleeps, coldness rears its head,

Storms brew, with murderous dread.

Lightning cracks, a jagged scar,

Unleashing chaos heavily from afar.

Slowly the fragrant blossoms and petals unfold,

A cacophony of colors, pure and bold.

Yet lurking amidst their fragrant grace,

Thorns lie concealed, their fighting embrace.

In nature's grand stage, drama unfolds,

Where beauty inhales, the contrast it holds.

For there, amidst the verdant earth,

The best and worst find its rebirth.

Behold the sunrise, don’t miss the celestial fire,

A spectacle, it ignites desire.

Golden hues adorn the sky,

Holding beauty, as a captive there up high.

Nature's beauty, a tale of extremes,

Where the best and worst reside in our bloodstream.

Thundering storms and tender blooms,

Nature's essence, should our soul consume.
