Winter’s Quiet Trickery

A Few Winter Haiku

By DaphsamPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Bing created

Just enough snow fall

creates rivers of pattern

to disguise black ice

****

A wintery bond,

snow, as soft as a blanket,

ice, the hidden knife

***

Wintery pleasures

with cold silent agendas

carefully pursue

***

Rattling window panes

winter's harsh song bellows out

beware of my bite

***

Pale lacy iris

sheets as fine as blown fine glass

slippery to touch

The beauty and hazards of winter snow and ice. Dangerous but believe it or not I miss it somewhat.

Coldly done! I mean warmly done! It’s summer here yet I suddenly feel the need to rug up! ;0) Excellent haikus Daphne. 😊👍
