Winter's Mystical Wonders
Frost In Verse
Fall has begun flirting and sowing its seeds
Raindrops are changing their tune
Imaginations are drifting, like the fresh fragile leaves
Snowflakes will be gathering soon
Tinsel appears, draping the limbs of the trees
Encasing circles of clouds round the moon
December is coming, bringing sleep until spring
Giving lovers a reason to spoon
Sheer icy coating blankets the ground
Hanging our breath, suspended in air
Sparkling like diamonds, its beauty astounds
The likes of which none can compare
Cinnamon clouds collect, they cascade in the sky
Giving illusions of perpetual motion
Jack with his fingers of ice, wanders by
Leaving all he touches magically frozen
Stand in awe of the mystical wonder he brings
Listen close to the sound of earth's slumber
Hear if you can, the song that he sings
Allow yourself, his spell, to fall under
