Winter’s Delight

Cold is my hearth

Crisp and clear

My dear my dear.

You loved me in the summer oestros

Fled me in the cutting-edge of crystalline stalactites

A knife’s edge

You carved my heart

With your cold goodbye.

A sigh, a sigh, winter’s death of love

Lies fallow until the nascent thaw.
