A Sonnet on Beautiful Eyes

Eyes, the windows to the soul, so fair,

With beauty, that doth shine so bright.

Like diamonds, set in frames of hair,

And with a gaze, that doth delight.

A gaze, that doth reveal the heart,

And with a sparkle, that doth tell,

A story, of love's sweetest art,

And with a light, that doth excel.

For eyes, they are the source of truth,

And with a beauty, that doth endure.

A symbol, of youth and grace, uncouth,

And with a radiance, that doth allure.

And so, I sing of eyes, so bright,

And with a beauty, that doth light the night.
