In stillness and peace,

The Stoic finds his calm,

Amidst the chaos of life,

He stays free from harm.

He does not cling to pleasure,

Or fear pain or strife,

For he knows that all things pass,

And are but fleeting in life.

With a quiet and steady mind,

He meets each day with grace,

Embracing what comes his way,

With a smile upon his face.

For he knows that wisdom comes,

From accepting what is true,

And in quietude he finds,

A path that leads to virtue.

So let us take a page,

From the Stoic’s tranquil book,

And find peace in stillness,

In a world that’s often shook.
