I hear him calling
Sometimes I swear he's screaming out my name...
But there's not a sound
I feel him reaching out
Sometimes his lips pressing against mine
But eyes open, he's not here
I hear him thinking of me
Sometimes swearing I can see him up close
But it's never real
I swear I feel him loving me
Calling out over the chasms of life
But then he doesn't say a word... And I question my sanity...
Until whispered words on untouched lips tell me he loves me...
Then I will be free
