Wind and Tree

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

The storm waited and watched
Fighting... "Commence."
Ropes carry more of
Tree limbs, screams, and roars.
And the houses speculate,
Senses...
Scared for their well-being,
Solid indoors.
Then the wind...
Boom, back and forths,
"Is not its fault!"
The tree.
