Will Tomorrow Ever Come

A Poem

By Devin MitchellPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Will Tomorrow Ever Come

Well you're up there

I'm down here, and It's not fair

I want to be where gravity

Keeps us high off our feet

I may not know where it is you are

But it must be heaven by far

I want to talk to you thru mirrors

I want to walk with you thru walls

I want to be your bonding spirit

I'll wait until my last crust of sand

But I'm afraid I'll never see your hand

I'll have to face reality

Nothing ever goes as planned

I may not know where it is you are

But it must be heaven by far

I want to talk to you thru mirrors

I want to walk with you thru walls

I want to be your bonding spirit

Will tomorrow ever come

Where your shadow become my moon

And I'm able to be with you

Though are paths were different

And the places we went were to

I may not know where it is you are

But it must be heaven by far

I want to talk to you thru mirrors

I want to walk with you thru walls

I want to be your bonding spirit
