Will I ever be loved or cherished
To be held by a good man
Have I been too dismissive
Or not interesting at all
I try to be friendly and kind to all
Yet my heart still wants for more
Or are the men just too fickle for easy
All I want is to be loved
And to love him back
Is that too much to ask
I want a relationship not a fling
Someone to spend a lifetime with me
I guess I will have to wait for you to see.

Staying with someone who doesn't love you as you love them just isn't worth it. I'm happily single now. The right person will love you freely without ever making you doubt yourself.
Sometimes it's so difficult to find someone who could love us the way we want to be loved. Beautiful poem!
