In a dream I was walking

Out of my shell,

I had found myself.

Happy like out of a fairytale.

Awakening from this illusion;

I'm caught in a web of hell.

I tried to fit in with the crowd;

But there's always someone else ,

Wanting to wear the crown.

Leaving me to be misunderstood;

Abusing me with words;

Damaging thy mind.

Like a criminal being sentenced;

I was going to pay the price,

As the rage opened a door;

For the devil to come inside.

I thought of what to write in a letter to friends,

Of my hating poser's reaction

Of me lying dead.

No more tears to shed.

It would all end.

I thought of my mother crying;

While neighbors kept asking how this tragedy came about.

I lay in bed without a sound,

I thought of all the joy & laughter all year round.

Family gatherings, the city lights, & hanging out.

There's more to u that people choose not to see,

People will come & go in your life as they please.

Stay away from negativity.

Choose carefully,

Before u walk out the door,

Put your armor on,

And you will conquer any wicked spell.
